Karuri Water and Sanitation Company (KAWSCO) held a customer engagement forum today at Christ the King ACK Church, Ruaka, bringing together residents and company officials to discuss service delivery challenges and customer concerns.
The session provided a platform for customers to raise key issues affecting water and sewer services. Major concerns included high current water tariffs, delays in water and sewer connection services, inconsistent water pressure, occasional water quality issues, delayed repair of bursts, and slow response to complaints. Customers also highlighted the need for clearer billing and improved communication during service interruptions.
KAWSCO representatives acknowledged the concerns and reaffirmed their commitment to improving service delivery through faster response times, better communication, improved water quality monitoring, and more efficient handling of connection requests.
The forum concluded successfully with continued engagement between the company and residents aimed at improving water and sanitation services in Ruaka.
